John Simm has been confirmed to take on the role of Hamlet at the Sheffield Crucible in September 2010 following a £15.8m redevelopment of the theatre.The BBC News website confirms that Simm will be following in the footsteps of David Tennant, Jude Law, and Christopher Eccleston as the latest high profile actor to play the Danish prince.
